    Good point. We have to be extremely careful not to become emotionally attached to those around us, especially if they're not Catolic. We can't give into human respect.

    This is true. We do have to be radical and oppose error. Pope Calicstus the Third said that not to oppose error is to approve of it. There was a quote somewhere saying that the evil caused in the world is due to lukewarm Catholics. Let us strive not to be lukewarm but to oppose evil, even if it affects our relationships with friends or family.
